Our Purple team is designed for 14U players looking for competitive tournament softball. With a target of 11-13 tournaments from September through the first week of June, our team is Little League and multi-sport friendly.
We work with Dani and Makenna Weir for hitting instruction and Robert Connor for pitching instruction (current KB 16U manager and pitching coach) and are committed to the tenets of the Positive Coaching Alliance.
Tryout for KB Fastpitch!
When attending a scheduled tryout, please fill out and sign our Tryout Waiver and bring it with you. Players should wear cleats (outdoors) or sneakers/turf shoes (indoors); bring their gloves, fielder’s face mask, batting helmet, and bat to tryouts. Catchers should bring their own gear if they have it. Pitchers and catchers should expect to stay longer as they are typically evaluated at the end.

KB 18u- Hauck​
Our 2024-25 season team is at 13 players, plus 1 practice player. At this time, we would go to 14 for a pitcher with demonstrated experience at 16uA or Varsity HS. Fill out a tryout inquiry form if you are interested and we'll bring you in for a private tryout.

KB 16U –('09) – No This Season
While we had a number of players express interest in this team, we did not have enough to build a team from scratch nor did we have a coach. We will look to form this team next season.

We're looking for 1-3, 2010 players that are ready to jump into our 14uA/16uB schedule for the 2024-25 season! Our goal is to play around 15 tournaments both locally and out of state, and we will break for the high school season.

KB 14U Purple (’11) – Garrett
The KB 12U Purple team has had a fantastic season with multiple Gold Bracket wins! We look forward to moving up to 14u for the upcoming 2024-25 season, continuing to develop players while being competitive on the field.

KB 14U Black (’11) – Pletz
The KB 14u Black team is an established team that is new to KB Fastpitch. We are looking for 3-4 players with Pitcher, Outfield, and Middle Infield as our priorities. We're planning a public, group tryout but are also willing to hold smaller private tryouts on a case by case basis.

KB 12U('12) – Painter
Cody Painter, former KB 18u coach, has returned to tthe KB org as our new 12u '12 head coach! Group tryouts will be held on July 7 and July 13.​

KB 12U ('13) – Jack
We're moving up to 12u! Having fielded a very competitive team at 10u and winning several tournaments, we're ready to face the challenges for first year 12u teams. Development is key at this age level and our staff has proven that we are able to develop our players and be competitive at tournaments.

KB 12U ('14) – Fiske/Johnson
Our very successful 10u team is moving up to 12u for the '25-26 season! Kathy Fiske and Jacki Johnson are former UW players giving their time to coach future Husky players! They're looking to build on this season's success and potentially play in the Alliance Fastpitch Championship Series in Westfield, IN next summer!

KB 10U ('15) – Smoke
New to KB but not new to coaching, Alyssa Smoke is a former Cal Bear who's played in the NCAA D1 World Series! She also was a coach for Alabama State (D1), Holy Names (D2), and Mt. Diablo CC (JUCO). She's also coached the Sorcerers and Cal Nuggets select teams at PGF. A firm believer in positive coaching, we're excited to have Alyssa coach next seasons 10u team!
